Abstract

Employment Pension Act (1962) stipulated pension benefits for all employees. The organisation was (different from that time global trends) decentralised. Employers could, according to their own consideration, take a pension insurance from an insurance company or establish a pension fund for their own purposes. To facilitate the application a nation-wide central register for earned pension rights was established and the duty of pension granting and paying was given to a pension insurance company or to the fund of the last employer also in the case if the employee had earlier had employment for several employers.
